Content Creator & Events Coordinator Role

We are a small team looking for someone to help with content creation and events who LOVES walking, talking and the natural world. Are you the person for the role? If so, please do apply!

Terms: Freelance OR Zero Hours contract if preferred (usually 1-20 hours per week).

Hourly Rate:  £11.15 + Travel expenses for out of town travel and subsistence on location.

Location: Greater London

Go Jauntly is a health and wellness company working to increase walking, nature connection and outdoor adventures. We have an award-winning walking, wayfinding and nature connection app which is frequently featured in the press and showcased on the UK App Store.

This role would suit someone who already has a flexible schedule or is looking for extra work at the weekends.

The ideal teammate:

  • UK permit to work and able to travel across the UK at short notice (weekdays and/or weekends).

  • Confident walker, happy to walk or work alone, loves taking pics and exploring.

  • Tech-savvy, experienced in social media, enjoys writing and can capture good photos and video footage.

  • Excellent English speaking and writing abilities, with an eye for grammatical and spelling errors.

  • Enjoys participating in public-facing and trade events.

  • Friendly and proactive by nature.

  • Organised, self-sufficient and able to manage time and tasks on your own when required.

  • Confident working and communicating effectively in a remote working environment.

  • Having a full, clean driving licence is a nice-to-have (sometimes we have to travel to remote locations). Please still consider applying even if you don’t have a driving licence as we endeavour to use public transport whenever possible.

Tasks will include:

  • We are primarily looking for someone who enjoys being out and about. We have several public-facing events coming up and a variety of new walking routes to map in the coming months so the role will be predominantly, attending ad hoc events, creating and uploading walking routes to the Go Jauntly app as well as some social media content creation.

  • Our walking routes are all tried and tested in person and the chosen candidate will need to be confident doing this alone and across the UK (and occasionally further afield). There is usually quite a bit of travel!

  • Supporting the team with admin, app testing, idea generation and content creation such as social media posts including text, video and image capture.

  • You’ll need to keep your working documents up to date such as a time tracker, expenses tracker and to-do list. These are usually in shared Google docs or Trello.

Second round: Max 30 min video call on the phone to discuss the role in more depth.
