Way to Go! Coastal Walking Tours
Something exciting has been brewing at Go Jauntly. We’ve been up and down the country plotting brand new curated walks with you in mind. Honestly, it’s been an epic combination of stunning views, breezy mornings, golden hour evenings, seaside flora and fauna, vitamin sea and independent shops and cool pubs galore. What could it be, we hear you ask!
We are absolutely delighted to share that we’re officially working with outdoor clothing brand, TOG24 and King Charles III England Coast Path to bring you some fun free family-friendly self-guided walking tours, tried and tested by yours truly.
From June through to September, we’ll be releasing new walks in new locations all over the King Charles III England Coast Path to coincide with some free events happening across England which celebrate the opening of this new national trail.
At these events, our friends, TOG24 will also have a pop-up shop AND there are so many fun activities to enjoy. Please check out the upcoming FREE events below.:
Weymouth, Dorset - 10th - 11th June 2023. From a silent disco to beautiful walks. Come and say hi to us as we’ll be at Nothe Castle with TOG24 on the 11th June.
Chapel St Leonards, Lincolnshire - 17th June 2023. Enjoy Art on the Beach bookable workshops, Beach of Dreams flags by Kinetika and so much more. Come and say hi to us as we’ll be on the beach near the North Sea Observatory with TOG24.
Ilfracombe, Devon - 24th June 2023. At this event you’ll enjoy an exciting array of arts and crafts and exciting stories about nature and the coast. You’ll be able to try our self-guided walks plus there’s more information coming soon so please check the link for the latest.
Allonby and Solway AONB, Cumbria - 8th - 9th July 2023. Join this free event to enjoy a procession along the coastal path, learn about local Roman history through storytelling and re-enactments and interact with sea creatures at the Maryport Aquarium stand. TOG24 will also be present with their pop-up shop and you can check out our rather beautiful self-guided coast walks.
Souter and South Shields, Tyne and Wear - 16th - 17th September 2023. From watersports to a puppetry parade from Souter Lighthouse to Sandhaven Beach to the surf competition. There’s so much to enjoy on this two day event. Don’t miss the Beach of Dreams flags by Kinetika and do come and say hi to TOG24 and our Go Jauntly team who’ll be showcasing our new self-guide coastal walks and more.
Seaford, East Sussex - 20-24th September 2023. This is the big one. Find out more about the event, Walk the Chalk, Enjoy a variety of workshops, performances, arts activities and view five specially commissioned site specific installations on the cliffs. Great Yarmouth, Norfolk - 24th September 2023. Unleash your creativity with artistic, coastal workshops, circus skills and challenge yourself at the Marina centre’s climbing wall, all for free. We’ll be hanging out with the National Trails team so please do come and say, “hi” and do check out the new walking tours available exclusively on the Go Jauntly app.
Plymouth, Devon - 29th - 30th September 2023. Try out water sport activities. Explore the local coastal path and nature with our guided walks. More information is coming soon so please keep an eye on the link for more information. Don’t miss the new walking tours available exclusively on app.
Weston-Super-Mare, North Somerset - 30th September 2023. Based at the museum, enjoy coastal walks, yoga and wonderful live music, coastal arts and crafts, all for free. There’s more information coming soon which you can find on the link as well as our new free Weston-Super-Mare self-guided walks.
