Role - Walker and content creator
Terms - Temporary / Freelance (20-60 hours initially and real potential for ongoing work)
Salary Equivalent - £10.85 an hour + Expenses

Go Jauntly is a health and wellness company working to increase walking, nature connection and outdoor adventures. We have an award-winning walking, wayfinding and nature connection app which is frequently featured in the press and showcased on the UK App Store. We are a small team looking for a content creator who LOVES walking and can help us create unique content e.g. writing, photography and basic filming e.g Reels, videos
The ideal teammate:
You’re a confident walker, happy to walk alone, love taking pics and active travel.
You’re tech-savvy, experienced in social media, enjoy writing and taking good photos.
You have excellent English speaking and writing abilities, with an eye for grammatical and spelling errors.
You’re confident, friendly and proactive by nature.
You’re organised, self-sufficient and are able to manage your time and tasks on your own at times.
You’re confident working and communicating effectively in a remote or semi-remote working environment.
You must have a permit to work in the UK and be willing and able to travel at short notice.
Having a full, clean driving licence is advantageous. (Please note that sometimes we have to travel to remote locations where you really need a car).
Tasks will include:
We are primarily looking for a self-starter who likes being outdoors or out and about. We have lots of walking routes to map in the coming months so the role will be surveying, capturing and uploading walking routes to the Go Jauntly app. Please note that all routes are tried and tested in person and the chosen candidate will need to be confident doing this alone. The first batch of walks will be within Greater London.
Helping to test and quality assure the app. Honestly app development and testing is never-ending!
Supporting the team with admin, ideas, new walks, new features or content pieces.
You’ll need to keep your working documents up to date such as a time tracker, expenses track and work to-do list. These are usually in shared Google docs or Trello.

First round - Create a short 20 minute walk on the Go Jauntly app using the “create a walk” feature and then drop us an email with a link to hi@gojauntly.com with a short intro (less than 200 words) about yourself, a link to your walk and why you’d be fab for the freelance Jauntstar role. Please feel free to share your social media channels or your own portfolio (if you have one).
Second round - Max 30 min video call on the phone to discuss role in more depth.
