Move in March - Suffolk Walking Challenge
Get yourself moving this month with our NEW Move in March walking challenge. Join us and Suffolk County Council in walking at least 22 minutes each day in March.
This walking challenge begins on 1st March 2023, but you can sign up for free now. Suffolk County Council residents are also eligible to win prizes throughout the challenge.
Whether you live in Suffolk, or are a little further afield, anyone can join the challenge. Walking 22 minutes everyday takes you over the 150 minute weekly exercise recommendation from the NHS. By taking part you’ll enjoy the physical and mental benefits of spending time outdoors. Plus you’re also helping reduce problems such as carbon emissions and traffic congestion in your local area.

Win Prizes
Suffolk-based participants are eligible to win Tesco vouchers. Bonus participation prizes, such as a free Go Jauntly annual premium subscription will also be available each week. (Terms & Conditions apply, see below).
Competition Terms and Conditions
You must be a resident in Suffolk County Council to be eligible to win the weekly and end of challenge prizes.
To meet the entirety of the entry requirements you must be an active participant in the Move in March challenge on the Go Jauntly app.
You must submit your true post code as part of the challenge onboarding experience.
For the avoidance of any doubt, you will be automatically enrolled by signing up to the challenge and providing your accurate postcode.
The competition period will run between 1st March 2023 and 31st March 2023
There will be one weekly winner of an annual Go Jauntly Premium Membership. In addition to this there will be one Bronze winner, one Silver winner and one Gold winner at the end of the challenge.
The Gold prize will be a Tesco voucher up to the value of £200. The Silver prize will be a Tesco voucher up to the value of £100. The Bronze prize will be a Tesco voucher up to the value of £50.
No other prizes will be offered and no cash alternative will be given. Prizes to go to eligible Suffolk County Council residents only. Employees of Suffolk County Council will not be eligible to win prizes.
Weekly winners will be randomly selected from eligible participants. Winners of the weekly prize will be contacted weekly on or around the following dates, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th March and 5th April.
The Gold prize winner will be selected from a random generator of the top 5% of participants who logged the highest activity duration. The winner of the Gold prize will be contacted on 5th April. The Silver and Bronze prize winners will be picked from a random generator of the top 15% of participants. The winner of the Silver and Bronze prizes will be contacted on 5th April 2023.
We will email the prize winners using the email address used for signing up to Go Jauntly and we will post the prize to the given postcode and address to the winner. We will make 3 attempts to contact the winner over a period of 3 days via email.
If we get no response from the winner we will choose another randomly generated name from the eligible contestants.
