Partnership Overview

Go Jauntly invites everyone into a world of daily outdoor adventures.

Our award-winning, community-based walking app and platform increases leisure walking, active travel and wellbeing for all. We use a combination of self-led walking guides, green routes, walking challenges and green prescriptions to promote all walking trips.

We partner with local authorities, transport operators, business and brands such as Transport for London and over 30 local authorities across the UK. Our work improves wellbeing in cities, reduces short car trips, improves air quality and increases nature connectedness.

Walking is a fantastic way to get around London and Go Jauntly’s app makes it simpler to find routes, especially if you’re in an area which you’re less familiar with.
— Will Norman, London's Walking and Cycling Commissioner

Why you should work with us

The transport sector is the biggest source of carbon emissions and air pollution in the UK & abroad. Physical inactivity, stress and depression costs global economies billions. Encouraging walking is one of the easiest ways to combat this polycrisis.

Walking is fun, free and easy. Our research shows that encouraging everyday walking for pleasure is a key driver to enable modal shift and behaviour change, for practical journeys and ad hoc walking trips.

A selection of our case studies

Go Jauntly won the Mayor of London’s Civic Innovation Challenge in partnership with Transport for London in 2018. We have worked together ever since to promote walking and active travel across the city. From designing and developing an interactive station-to-station walking map, to digitising the Capital Ring and Jubilee Walkway, our mission is to make London the world’s most walkable city.

Our partnership with Essex County Council now extends to 100’s of walking routes across the county. Our work combines projects from economic development and tourism teams, as well as the Active Essex and sustainable transport team. We utilise a variety of walking activations to increase walking and our walking challenges have processed hundreds of millions of steps!

Together with Bristol City Council and Travelwest, we have launched well over 100 local photo-led walks on Go Jauntly in Bristol. From amplifying the popular Bristol Walk Fest, to creating city walking challenges. Elevating hidden history on the Bristol Bus Boycott walking trail and Bristol Pride walk, to Southmead Hospital’s wellbeing walks. The choice really is incredible!
